Katie's Book Blog.
The Physical Books:
Insurgent by Veronica Roth--bought and already read this one. So, so good. I loved it.
Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter--I won this during Aimee's facebook chat, and am excited to have a signed copy! I also have a signed copy of The Goddess Test. You can read my review here of Goddess Interrupted.
Once Bitten by Trina M. Lee--bought this one. I like the cover and it sounds interesting, so here's to hoping I get to it soon and not let it stay on my kindle for years!
Intangible by J. Meyers--this one is for review.
Beautiful Lies by Jessica Warman--OH YEAH, BUDDY! I loved Between and am very, very excited to get to this one!
Reading Pile (And What's Up With the Blog and Me):
Oh, you guys, I tried the next ten reads and I am dangerously close to falling off the list. I posted a wishful thinking of books I want to read NOW instead of those on my list. And no, I haven't fallen off, but I'm sure I will soon. I don't have a lot of confidence in myself, do I? Hm... I should probably work on that, ha!
However, I did read and review The Hunt by Andrew Fukuda, which was one my list! Hooray for me. I actually rather enjoyed it, just there's a lot of trip hazards that kept tripping me up. I also read Struck by Jennifer Bosworth and my review will up next week.
I also got over my block of writing my review of Shine by Jeri Smith-Ready and faced the music. I know my reviews of that series isn't all that popular; I mean, all three book reviews get almost no comments and hardly any views. Facing that when I went to write my review kept me from writing it. I did NOT want to face the sting of nobody commenting, and you know what? Nobody who has read Shine (or that series) has commented on my review. I *knew* this was going to happen, but it still hurts. I don't know why those reviews are so unpopular. The series certainly isn't that unpopular. I just don't understand.
Aside from those reviews, and back to the reading pile, I'm going to try to get through a few more books on the pile and write up reviews. I'm getting to a point where I don't want to keep up with my blog, so I may not post as much as I used to. I don't know if it's because May is a busy month, but it seems like nobody is reading my blog.
